Our team at the Library of Lived Experience acknowledges that we work on the unceded, traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Our work spans the province of British Columbia. With gratitude, we give thanks to the many First Nation groups that have and continue to steward and care for these lands. We honour the stories, knowledge and time through which these First Nations have supported and directed the Library’s efforts. We are still learning from them. With that, we welcome and hold space for the opportunity to continue this journey of reconciliation together.
Additionally, we would like to acknowledge that the Library is a public place of sharing and learning. It is one where diverse experiences meet to create an impactful foundation to advocate for change in services that support neurodiverse individuals. Our project is currently funded through the generosity of the BC SPOR Support Unit, a partner of Health Research BC.
