Our efforts are founded on the understanding that individuals with lived experience offer unique perspectives that are not always captured in medical literature. Individuals with lived experience are the root of the Library’s topics, resources, and ongoing efforts. Lived experience plays a pivotal role in shaping what we look for in literature and how the voices of these individuals add value to our community spaces.
Our efforts strive to identify, address and reduce barriers to accessing care and inspire policy and programming that prioritizes the needs of neurodiverse individuals and their families. Improving life outcomes for individuals with lived experience starts with their voices and experiences. You can read more about our efforts below.
